Conversation Connect is a relaxed, welcoming networking event designed to bring together local business owners, professionals, and community leaders from across the Forster–Tuncurry region.
Our March event is sponsored by Coastal Brewery and Orbit Marketing.
Each meeting provides space to connect, share ideas, hear updates from Business Forster Tuncurry, and take part in facilitated conversations around relevant business and community themes. Formats may vary from month to month and can include panel discussions, open Q&A, member spotlights, and informal networking.
Whether you’re a long-time member, new to the group, or attending for the first time, Conversation Connect offers an inclusive environment to build relationships, learn from others, and strengthen our local business community.

Unboxed: Breaking the Business Gender Rules
Description:
We all carry invisible rules about how we “should” show up at work — how assertive is too assertive, how nurturing is too soft, who leads, who supports, who asks, who apologises.
This session explores the unspoken gender expectations shaping our workplaces and businesses, and how those roles quietly affect confidence, leadership, money, boundaries, and burnout.
Through real stories and honest discussion, we’ll challenge what no longer fits and look at how creating space for more authentic leadership benefits everyone — regardless of gender.
