Jessica Gray | President Jessica is the Director and Licenced Conveyancer of Smart Coast Conveyancing in Tuncurry. After moving to Forster approximately 10 years ago, her goal was to provide a cost effective and friendly legal service to the local area. She is a driven and motivated business women who is always excited to provide her energy towards a new idea. Jessica is a passionate person who loves to help others and give back to the community. She loves being a mum to her 2 boys and along with partner Clint, enjoys many weekends fishing, playing sport and exploring the beautiful area we live in. Hector Lucenti | Vice President The Visionary Founder of Beach Geek, your local tech experts, boasts a three-decade career in Technology Application and Cyber Security. He has held diverse global tech roles, and as a devoted family man, His interests range from studying behavioural patterns and AI to enjoying virtual reality, road trips, Texas BBQ, and beach walks. As member of the business community, his desire is to contribute to our local economy and see it flourish, he continues to add value to our committee through innovative ideas, technology enhancements and business networks. Marcus Hunt | Treasurer Marcus Hunt is a local business vehicle & equipment finance broker trading as Smyth Financial Mid North Coast NSW. Prior to his brokerage role, Marcus’s experience includes over 30 years in business banking (across a handful of banks) and he also holds accounting qualifications. Marcus’s partner Kylie also works in the brokerage business, and they live on the family beef cattle farm near Taree. Marcus became FTBC Treasurer at the 2023 AGM to help support the chamber’s efforts in assisting our business members to grow and prosper. Mia Gentz | Secretary and Membership Mia Gentz is a dynamic and dedicated events coordinator with a diverse background in entrepreneurship and sales. As the Founder of Forster Yoga Studio, Mia demonstrated her passion for wellness and community building, creating a welcoming space where individuals could connect and grow. Her experience in managing a successful small business has given her invaluable insights into event planning, customer service, and community engagement. Currently, Mia brings her expertise to First National Real Estate as a sales agent, where she excels in fostering relationships and helping clients achieve their real estate goals. Her commitment to building inclusive communities remains at the heart of her work, whether she is coordinating events or assisting clients with their property needs. Mia's passion for creating events where everyone feels welcome and where small businesses can thrive is evident in every project she undertakes. With her strong organizational skills, creative vision, and dedication to excellence, Mia continues to make a positive impact in her community. El Rattray | Event Coordinator | El Rattray is the Event Coordinator for the 2025 Conversation Connect Events at the Forster Tuncurry Business Chamber, fostering meaningful connections to support and strengthen the local business community. A natural collaborator, El thrives on bringing people together to inspire growth and innovation. With over 30 years of publishing experience, El is the Publisher and Editor-In-Chief of Lifestyle Barrington Coast Magazine, a premium print and digital publication celebrating the Barrington Coast—a breathtaking part of the Mid North Coast. More than just a magazine, it’s a platform for sharing the region’s most remarkable stories, connecting communities, supporting local businesses, encouraging exploration, and showcasing vibrant towns and villages. More than a magazine—CONVOS: Stories That Connect, the Lifestyle Barrington Coast podcast, features change-makers, artists, adventurers, and entrepreneurs, uncovering their personal journeys, challenges, and passions and experiences that shape the Barrington Coast. Tim Richmond | Committee Member Tim arrived to town after travelling Australia & has found the area and community a brilliant place to be. He began working in the insurance industry after school and never left, now managing a broad range of clients for Oxley Insurance Brokers & enjoying meeting new people on a daily basis. Tim is involved in running & old cars/motorbikes – when he isn’t in the office, out running or in the garage you’ll find him chasing his young family around their sports of choice (Netball, Soccer, Rugby & Touch Football). Tim is keen to help & make a difference in the community which is why he joined the Chamber of Commerce, he thinks the future is bright for our region. Simon Gould | Marketing Faye Murray | Committee Member Faye has been a hairdressing/beauty business coach and business and motivational speaker for 20 years both nationally and internationally. Prior to this she was the general manager of a hairdressing company with 28 salons and 300 plus team members. She was inducted into the Hairdressing Hall of Fame in 2011 and Beauty Hall of Fame in 2019. She is the only person to have the honor of being inducted into both. She was a founding member of the Australian Hairdressing Council and a board member for 10 years. Faye judges’ national hair and beauty awards. She also writes articles for business magazines on a wide range of subjects. Faye moved from Brisbane 12 years ago. In her spare time, she is a lawn bowler, tap dancer, linked companion for a 93-year-old and member of Halliday’s Point Lions Club. She has recently semi-retired to enjoy the Mid Coast lifestyle. |
